Join us Online for open-ended Book Discussions!

We invite readers and visitors to the BookGuide site to join us in our Discussion Forum webpages, to share your views on books, authors and the experience of reading. Once you've signed up for a free account (to protect users' privacy), you can post comments or questions about anything book-related in our moderated Forum, and respond to previous postings. It's like attending a never-ending book discussion group, but you can stay at home in your jammies and bunny slippers!

The Discussion Forum is moderated by BookGuide staff. Initial postings of new topics or subject threads must be approved by one of the moderators, so there may be a slight delay before new topics might appear in the Forum. Responses to existing discussion threads should appear immediately, but may be edited or removed if they are inappropriate.

At present, there are five Forums on the site: The Book Lovers' Forum, for general book and reading discussions; the Teen Forum, intended for use by our teenage visitors; and special discussion Forums for the three major literary events that the Lincoln City Libraries either sponsors or co-sponsors each year -- One Book - One Lincoln, the Turning the Pages of Romance conference and Mayhem in the Midlands. The only pieces of information you are required to provide to register for the Discussion Forum are: a Username (which can be your real name or a nickname); a Password of your own choosing; and a Valid E-mail Address. It's quick, it's painless and we hope you'll find it to be fun!
